Laser therapy
Laser therapy is a modern method used in the prevention and treatment of many eye diseases. It is of particular importance in the case of diabetic changes on the fundus or degeneration of the retinal circumference. It is also very important in diseases such as: glaucoma that cannot be normalized with drops, secondary cataracts (sometimes occurring after cataract surgery), as well as age-related degenerative changes in the retina.
The Eye Laser Therapy Laboratory performs laser treatments using the best SLT and YAG laser and the green-diode Solitaire laser from the Japanese company Ellex:
- Glaucoma laser therapy (LASER SLT Tango Ellex)
- Laser therapy of secondary cataract and iris of the eye: capsulotomy, iridotomy (LASER YAG Tango Ellex)
- Laser therapy of retinal vascular changes in diabetes (LASER green LED Solitaire)
Iridoplasty (iris laser therapy)
The patient is qualified for the procedure during consultation at the Ophthalmology Clinic. On the day of the visit, he / she reports to the Registration with a complete set of documents.
After the procedure, it is recommended to lead a sparing lifestyle for several days. It is not advisable to drive a car. After a month, a diagnostic OCT test should be performed, and then report the result to the attending physician.
After the procedure, follow the instructions of your ophthalmologist.
