    At the Urology Clinic, we qualify for surgical procedures performed as part of our Urology Department.

    We deal with diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system, such as: inflammation of the bladder and urethra, prostate diseases, fertility disorders, tumors of the bladder, testicles, penis, phimosis, and urolithiasis.

    How to prepare for a stay in our hospital?

    The duration of illness and stay in any hospital is inherently stressful and therefore it is important to limit its duration to the necessary minimum. All patients presenting for surgery are asked to follow the following rules:

    • The patient is informed about the dates of all required examinations of the procedure in the Hospital Registration
    • The patient should arrive at the hospital on time and on time, on the date agreed during the qualification visit or provided by the Hospital Registration employee
    • Patients who have been informed that the date of the surgery is on the same day as the date of admission are asked to come to the hospital on an empty stomach (eating and drinking is not allowed 6 hours before the scheduled date of surgery. In exceptional cases, with consent or on request) physician, other, individually prepared procedures are possible

    What should the patient have with him on the day of the procedure?

    • referral to the hospital
    • documents necessary to complete the formalities related to admission to the hospital (ID card, valid insurance card, in the case of retirees and pensioners, a pensioner card)
    • if it is necessary to issue a form of incapacity for work – the employer’s tax identification number
    • all test results, X-ray pictures, etc., discharge cards and other medical documents
    • patients suffering from other diseases are asked to take all the medications they use in their original packaging
    • of course, it is necessary to take with you to the hospital: personal toiletries, wounded slippers, pajamas, a bathrobe and a towel

    Are the treatments reimbursed by the National Health Fund?

    The hospital ward operates only commercially. Consultations at the Urological Clinic as well as biopsy and cystoscopy procedures as part of outpatient care are reimbursed by the National Health Fund.
