Spot/scanner laser therapy
It involves local irradiation of body surfaces. In this case, laser therapy is used to stimulate cells with the energy of laser radiation, rather than destroying them, as in other uses of lasers in medicine.
This treatment has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. It speeds up the healing process of wounds, as well as bone fractures. Indicated for people with osteoarthritis of the knee, hip and spine, as well as RA. Indications for laser therapy are also overload syndromes of the musculoskeletal system (e.g. “student’s elbow”, “tennis elbow”, painful shoulder syndrome).
