Children’s dentistry
Children’s dentistry deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of oral cavity in the youngest patients. Working with children is associated with specific management and treatment methods. At KCM Clinic, the most important thing is that the youngest patients come to visit with pleasure.

Treatment of milk teeth is just as important as treatment of permanent teeth. Do not underestimate the signs of caries, just seek medical attention right away. The sooner we start treatment, the lower the likelihood of caries problems in adulthood.
Untreated milk teeth can become primary foci of infection and create an open path to the spread of infection throughout the body, causing disease in distant organs – the heart, joints, kidneys, vision.
Dental treatment does not have to be a painful experience for a child. Local anesthesia can also be used for young patients. In cases where the patient has a problem with cooperation with the doctor, due to age, previous experience with dentistry, or due to various types of diseases, it is also possible to treat under inhalation or general anesthesia.
The first consultation with a dentist should take place when the first teeth begin to grow. This visit is most important for the child and parent, because it shapes the patient’s later attitude to visits.
Adaptive visits are used to familiarise children with equipment, office and staff. During this visit, the dentist, usually in the form of play, tames the child with dental equipment. Thanks to this, the office becomes for him a place associated with fun and nice spending time. Finally, the patient receives a reward for courage as an encouragement for subsequent meetings.

Services – including consultations, treatment, surgery, cosmetic dentistry and diagnostics – are performed as part of the dental clinic at KCM Clinic and are available only privately or for private medical insurance. The scope of services included in the private medical insurance package may vary, as it depends on the patient’s individual insurance. How can I arrange a procedure under general / inhalation anesthesia?
Each treatment begins with consultation with a specialist, diagnostics based on modern x-ray diagnostics, thanks to which it is possible to establish a treatment plan tailored to the individual needs of the patient. The joint decision of the patient and the doctor about the type of anesthesia used during the procedure is made during medical consultation.
