Otolaryngology
Otolaryngology is a medical specialty that is focused on the ears, nose, and throat.
An otolaryngologist is a doctor who treats conditions and diseases affecting your ears, nose, and throat as well as the head and neck. They are often called ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctors for short. Whether your issue is simple or severe, we can treat you, at all stages of life.
Otolaryngology is also called otolaryngology-head and neck surgery because specialist otolaryngologists are trained in both medicine and surgery.
When you have a health issue with the ears, nose, or throat it can affect your everyday life. Whether it’s an ear infection, a hearing issue, sinusitis, or speech and swallowing problem, our otolaryngology specialist doctors can help. We would look at your individual needs and choose the best treatment options that are right for you.

- Patients who have been informed that the date of the surgery is on the same day as the date of admission are asked to come to the hospital on an empty stomach (eating and drinking is not allowed 6 hours before the scheduled date of surgery. In exceptional cases, with consent or on request) physician, other, individually prepared procedures are possible
What should the patient have with him on the day of the procedure?
- referral to the hospital
- documents necessary to complete the formalities related to admission to the hospital (ID card, valid insurance card, in the case of retirees and pensioners, a pensioner card
- if it is necessary to issue a form of incapacity for work – the employer’s tax identification number
- all test results, X-ray pictures, etc., discharge cards and other medical documents,
patients suffering from other diseases are asked to take all the medications used in their original packaging - of course, it is necessary to bring to the hospital: personal toiletries, comfortable footwear for a change, pajamas, bathrobe and a towel
