Dr Bartosz Musielak (MD, PhD) is an outstanding orthopaedist, orthopaedist for children, specializing in orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system. As a specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Locomotor System, he deals with reconstructive surgery, limb lengthening, and limb deformation correction. Dr Musielak promotes the lysar method and its derivatives. He also specializes in the treatment of congenital and acquired motor organ defects in children.
He has worked and gained his professional experience as an orthopaedic consultant at the Wiktor Dega Hospital, Ortop Poliklinika and Rehasport Clinic.
Dr Musielak is the author of about 20 publications and scientific presentations, a member of numerous medical associations (including the Polish Society of Children’s Orthopaedics, the European Society of Children’s Orthopedics and the Polish Society of Arthroscopic).
Dr. Musielak is also lecturing at the Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Traumatology in University of Medical Sciences in Poznań . In 2015 he was awarded the honorary title of “Amicus Studentium” of the Medical University in Poznań.
He is a graduate of the Medical University in Poznań.
Dr. Musielak is fluent in English and German, and as a respected international authority in orthopaedics, he is also a laureate of many prestigious scholarships and grants, including: 2012 – American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine Student Travel Scholarship, 2016 – European Paediatric Orthopaedics Society BAT Course Scholarship, 2017 – American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine OrthoPediatrics Travel Scholarship, 2018- EPOS Traveling Fellowship.
