In May, KCM Clinic had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from Canada, whose visit focused on learning about the possibilities of comprehensive diagnostics and the organization of medical care offered to international patients.
The delegation included representatives of political, business and healthcare communities, including former Members of the Parliament of Canada: Michelle Ferreri, Ryan Williams and Dr. Stephen Ellis.
Each participant received an individual diagnostic program, including specialist consultations, laboratory tests and advanced diagnostic imaging carried out in cooperation with Omega Diagnostyka Obrazowa. During the visit, the program included, among others, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), X-ray and ultrasound examinations, genetic diagnostics and specialist cardiology tests.
An important element of the entire process was coordinated care. Each participant was supported by a dedicated patient coordinator responsible for organizing examinations, communication and ensuring the smooth course of all stages of diagnostics.
This approach makes it possible to carry out a broad assessment of the patient’s health during a single stay, while ensuring an individual approach, comfort and continuity of medical care.
An important part of the visit was also the opportunity to discover Poland and the Lower Silesia region. The delegation visited, among others, Warsaw, Wrocław, Szklarska Poręba, Wojanów and Staniszów, exploring the tourist, cultural and natural attractions of the region. The program also included a meeting with the Mayor of Jelenia Góra, Jerzy Łużniak, dedicated to the potential for international cooperation and regional promotion.
The visit was an opportunity to present the solutions used at KCM Clinic in the field of modern diagnostics, treatment process organization and care for international patients. It also confirms the growing interest in Polish medicine and comprehensive diagnostic programs provided within the Medical Travel model.
